Interview series: LublinHighTech_powered by youth

In this edition of the series, we will showcase projects created by students from Lublin’s vocational schools, technical schools, and high schools—often carried out in cooperation with local businesses or universities. The solutions cover fields such as automation, programming, robotics, and environmental technologies. These projects are not only innovative and practical but also address real-world needs. They serve as living proof that vocational, technical, and general education in Lublin effectively responds to labor market challenges and develops the skills needed for the future. This initiative emphasizes that the economic future of Lublin depends not only on the growth of companies and attracting investors but also on a conscious investment in the younger generation—the future engineers, programmers, inventors, and innovation leaders.
“Expanding the #LublinHighTech series to include student projects reflects our conviction that young people are already actively involved in building the modern economy. Their ideas—often realized through competitions, internships, or collaborations with universities and companies—show that Lublin is an excellent place to nurture talent and develop future-ready skills,” says Dr. Mariusz Sagan, Director of the Department of Strategy and Investor Services at the Lublin City Office.
Participation in this initiative offers young people not only the chance to present their innovative projects but also the opportunity to establish contacts with companies and potential business partners. It is also a valuable opportunity for schools, which—acting as local talent accelerators—demonstrate their quality, openness to cooperation, and commitment to advancing modern education.
