Lublin companies among the winners of “The Kurier’s Hundred”!

The ranking is prepared by Dun & Bradstreet Poland, a leading global provider of business data and analysis. Companies are classified according to their revenue from sales of goods, products, and services, which serves as the key indicator of business performance and growth potential.
Companies were categorized based on revenue levels, with distinctions drawn between those generating over PLN 1 billion (Giants), between PLN 500 and 999 million (Leaders), between PLN 200 and 499 million (Challengers), and below PLN 200 million (Rivals).
This year’s gala gathered representatives of business, local government, and academia, becoming not only a summary of 2024 but also a celebration of the strength and resilience of the regional economy. In total, 103 enterprises were recognized, with an impressive 48 companies from Lublin included among the hundred largest businesses in the region. This clearly demonstrates that the capital of the Lubelskie Voivodeship remains a strong economic hub where key sectors such as energy, food production, manufacturing, logistics, education, and services continue to thrive.
In the Giants category (revenues over PLN 1 billion), eight companies from Lublin were honored. The top three positions in the entire ranking went to:
- PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. – 1st place overall
- PGE Dystrybucja S.A. – 2nd place overall
- Stokrotka Sp. z o.o. – 3rd place overall
Among the Leaders (revenues between PLN 500 and 999 million), six Lublin-based companies stood out, including:
- Spiżarnia Sp. z o.o. (17th overall)
- Aliplast Extrusion Sp. z o.o. (21st overall)
- Aliplast Sp. z o.o. (23rd overall)
In the Challengers category (revenues between PLN 200 and 499 million), three Lublin entities ranked prominently:
- Agro V Polska Sp. z o.o. (41st overall)
- Lubfarm S.A. (42nd overall)
- Medical University of Lublin (43rd overall) – a unique presence in the ranking, showcasing that educational institutions can also play a vital role in the regional economy.
Finally, in the Rivals category (revenues below PLN 200 million), two of the top three companies were based in Lublin:
- Elektromontaż Lublin Sp. z o.o. (101st overall)
- Lemonex S.A. (102nd overall)

The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Lublin Voivode, the Mayor of Lublin, and the Lublin District Governor, emphasizing the crucial role that regional enterprises play in driving the development of Eastern Poland.
