“Innovative production management” – new post-graduate studies at UMCS in Lublin

“Innovative production management” is a programme of post-graduate studies divided into 11 modules of 240 hours in total addressed to company owners, middle and senior management, masters and chargehands in manufacturing and logistics, engineers and specialists operating at production facilities, as well as to production planners and interim managers.

Post-graduate students will have the opportunity to learn about innovations in the management of production and logistics departments in manufacturing and service enterprises, as well as basics of Lean Management, Lean Production and philosophy of continuous improvement KAIZEN. Most classes are practical in nature, but supported or supplemented with theory. Post-graduates will learn through practice, discussions, problem-solving, demonstration of successful implementations in different production and logistics (TSL) companies, as well as by analyzing case which failed.

The programme is run by six practitioners with extensive experience in working for production, logistics and service businesses. Each of them is a specialist in a given domain. The lecturers hold certificates issues by e.g. Kaizen Institute, ESLog European Logistics Association, ACC (Associate Certified Coach) and International Coach Federation.
