Lublin Info Centre – the European city

Polish cities have been opening up to the world for over thirty years. The trend was reinforced thirteen years ago when Poland joined the EU community. At present, the largest Polish cities, Warsaw and Cracow, are cosmopolitan metropolises of world renown. Meanwhile, Lublin has been developing relations with partners across Europe by connecting the West with the East and being highly active in promoting continental values and heritage. City authorities were rewarded for their efforts when Lublin, celebrating its 700th anniversary this year, was awarded the 2017 Europe Prize.
