Lublin schools stand out in Perspektywy Ranking 2023

Every year, Lublin schools consistently place themselves within the top 100 spots in the ranking. This year’s results make us particularly happy since one of our local facilities – the Technical School of Electronics took 3rd place thus confirming and retaining its strong position as one of the best schools not only in Lublin but in the whole country. Technical School of Chemistry and Technical School of Trade and Economics were also ranked high, occupying 37th and 61st place in Poland respectively.

Lublin’s technical and vocational schools play a vital role in educating the next generation of skilled professionals. Annually, these institutions prepare more than 10,000 students to enter the job market, equipping them with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen fields. This provides companies in the region with a vast pool of well-trained potential employees in professions such as electronics and ICT technicians. It is a solid support for key sectors of the Lublin economy, i.e. IT services, automotive and machinery and manufacturing industry. At a time when finding a well-qualified technical worker is becoming a challenge, access to high-quality technicians is our city’s great asset.

The technical schools in Lublin offer a variety of educational programs tailored to the needs of the local job market. There are currently 64 different courses available, covering fields such as mechanics, logistics, gastronomy technology, customer service, and accounting. To ensure that their graduates are well-prepared for the ever-evolving labor market, Lublin’s schools are constantly updating their curricula. In the 2021/2022 school year, new profiles such as robotics, welding, stylist and florist technician were introduced, and in the 2022/2023 school year, a new course in roofing technician was added.

This ranking also evaluates the educational quality and success of graduates from high schools in the country. Among the top schools in Lublin, the best-performing one is Queen Jadwiga High School, which is ranked 25th in the country. Additionally, two other schools in our city made the top 50, including S. Staszic High School No.1 (ranked 38th) and Union of Lublin High School No. 3 (ranked 48th).
