Aliplast to expand production facility in Lublin subzone of SSE EURO-PARK Mielec

Aliplast is set to expand its production facility in the Lublin Subzone of the EURO-PARK Mielec Special Economic Zone (SEZ) with the addition of a new production and warehouse hall. The company has announced the creation of 60 new jobs by the first quarter of 2027.

The project, valued at over 65 million PLN, includes the modernization and expansion of the plant, as well as the implementation of modern, energy-efficient technologies, including a “green roof” covering the entire surface of the building. The firm will benefit from tax exemptions for new industrial and business service projects under the Polish Investment Zone program.

“The EURO-PARK Mielec Special Economic Zone remains one of the key instruments for supporting investment in south-eastern Poland, building Lublin’s economic potential and significantly contributing to local GDP. It spans 128 hectares of fully developed investment land, has attracted 75 investors, and generated over 7,000 jobs, with total investment outlays exceeding 2.6 billion PLN. Aliplast’s expansion is another example of the growth of Lublin’s economic zone and confirmation that our city is an attractive place to invest. We are pleased not only with the scale of the project and new jobs, but also with the implementation of modern, energy-efficient technologies that align with Lublin’s sustainable development goals,” says Krzysztof Żuk, Mayor of Lublin.

New hall and Green Technologies

The new project by Aliplast includes the construction of a production and warehouse hall with a total area of 6,500 m², of which 1,600 m² will be an underground section. The entire roof of the facility, measuring nearly 5,000 m², will be designed as a “green roof,” which will improve the building’s energy efficiency and extend the lifespan of the roofing material.

“A green roof on a production hall is an investment that increases energy efficiency, protects the roofing, and lowers air conditioning costs. This type of solution naturally combines ecology, aesthetics, and functionality. The investment brings benefits to the environment, employees, and the buildings themselves, while also positively impacting the brand’s image. Additionally, this project fits perfectly into our climate strategy for 2026-2030,” says Jan Kidaj, President of the Board at Aliplast Sp. z o.o.

Real Support for Investors

Aliplast was one of the first companies to establish its operations in the Lublin economic zone. Wiktor Cichoń, Director of the Mielec Branch of the Industrial Development Agency (ARP S.A.), emphasizes the subzone’s importance for business growth:

“Today, support within the Special Economic Zone covers not only Lublin but the entire Lubelskie Voivodeship, and the mechanism is accessible to both large enterprises and smaller firms starting out. This creates real conditions for dynamic investment growth. In this region, it is possible to obtain some of the highest levels of support in the European Union—reaching up to a 70% tax exemption—which constitutes a significant competitive advantage and promotes expansion into both domestic and foreign markets.”

Aliplast’s Growth in Lublin

Aliplast Sp. z o.o. is one of the largest manufacturers of aluminum systems and profiles in Poland and is part of the Cialis Group. The company consistently develops its operations in Lublin, combining innovation with environmental responsibility. The plant expansion project aligns with the company’s strategy of investing in solutions that reduce the environmental impact of production. Aliplast already boasts one of Poland’s largest rooftop photovoltaic installations, with a capacity of 5 MW, which significantly reduces energy consumption from conventional sources.

Investment Support Principles

The EURO-PARK Mielec Special Economic Zone supports enterprise development through a system of tax exemptions and investment incentives, contributing to the economic dynamism of Eastern Poland. The Aliplast investment will be conducted under the Polish Investment Zone program, which allows entrepreneurs to utilize tax relief for new industrial and service projects.

The basis for the income tax exemption is a Support Decision, issued upon the entrepreneur’s request by the zone manager on behalf of the Minister of Economic Development. Within the SSE EURO-PARK Mielec area, some of the highest support levels in the EU apply:

  • Up to 50% for large companies

  • Up to 60% for medium-sized companies

  • Up to 70% for small and micro-enterprises

The maximum validity period for these support decisions is 15 years. During the official presentation, Aliplast Sp. z o.o. received the formal document confirming its support under the Polish Investment Zone program along with a commemorative statuette from the Industrial Development Agency.
