Our goal is to organize the best European Youth Capital event. To do so, we need to deepen the knowledge of the needs and expectations of young residents of our city. That is why we invite you to the action #Let’s get to know each other! – says Beata Stepaniuk-Kuśmierzak, Plenipotentiary of the Mayor of Lublin for the European Capital of Youth Lublin 2023.

Lublin is the first Polish city to be granted the European Youth Capital title. The international jury decided that Lublin created the most interesting programme of activities in Europe with its unique energy and inspiring ideas of young people. It is based on European values such as equality, accessibility and anti-discrimination. Therefore our city is determined to create and implement youth policies that empower, protect and invest in all young people.

“Let’s get to know each other!” research is a social study that will allow us to get to know Lublin’s youth and involve them in planning various events and activities that will be held in our city.  Everyone who is 10 to 30 years old, lives or is in some way bound up with Lublin can take part in the survey. The results will be helpful in creating the European Youth Capital 2023 programme. A summary report will be prepared and posted in the second half of December 2021 at www.mlody.lublin.eu and the Lublin.EYC2023 profile on Facebook.

The survey is available in three language versions. To take part in the questionnaire, just click on one of the links below. They will be active until November 30th.

The European Youth Forum awarded Lublin the title of European Youth Capital to help us create an open and accessible city, which will be perceived as an attractive gathering place for young people from all over Poland and Europe, supporting their needs, ideas and dreams. It is a great distinction, but also a great challenge that can be completed only with the help of the youth!
