Tourism in Lublin – a market with room to grow

We now know the tourism figures for Lublin for the first half of 2025. Between January and June this year, nearly 900,000 people visited the city, including almost a quarter of a million from abroad. That’s nearly 90,000 more visitors compared with the same period last year.

“The steady, year-on-year growth in tourist numbers shows that our city is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for both domestic and international travellers. Thanks to the gradual increase in the number of people interested in visiting our city, both residents and the local tourism industry can adapt sustainably to the rising influx of visitors, in terms of tourist attractions, accommodation, and gastronomy. The optimistic data from the first half of 2025 give us hope for another record-breaking result by the end of the year,” says Beata Stepaniuk-Kuśmierzak, Deputy Mayor of Lublin for Culture, Sport and Participation.

In the first six months of 2025, the majority of visitors to Lublin were from Poland (646,000).
